TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Please ensure you read and fully understand these booking terms and conditions. These terms and conditions along with information on our website and any communication from that form a contract between you (lead booker of the property acting on behalf of all guests listed on the booking form – referred to as ‘you/your’) and us (Elegant Retreats Ltd) referred to as ‘we/us’ who acts on behalf of the property owner or property representative.

 

Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

Booking:

  • Bookings can only be accepted from a lead booker who is aged 21 years and over.
  • Groups of young adults (under 21) may only be accepted at specific accommodation and may require a higher damages deposit.
  • A contract between you and Elegant Retreats Ltd will come into existence when your Booking Form is received and your reservation payment is made. We will then issue you with a booking confirmation showing the confirmed holiday dates and payment received. The contract binds you & all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking.
  • The maximum number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed the number of persons and only those listed on the booking form can occupy the property unless prearranged with us. We reserve the right to terminate the booking without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
  • You or any member of your party should not book any non-refundable or non-transferable travel arrangements until you have received your booking confirmation from us.

 

Payment:

  • A non-refundable reservation deposit of the holiday cost is payable at the time of booking (usually 25% although some properties may be more). Bookings made less than ten weeks before your arrival date must be paid in full, plus the refundable damages deposit (damages deposit variable as per particular property).
  • The balance must be paid no later than ten weeks before the commencement of your holiday. If the balance is not received by the due date, then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation and the lead booker will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent. On receipt of the booking confirmation please make a note of the due date of your final payment – we will issue a reminder approx 12 weeks prior to your arrival date.
  • Damages deposit – In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us on the property owners behalf in full for any loss that we may incur as a result. A security deposit (amount specified per individual property) is required and will be returned within 14 days of the end of your holiday, less the cost of damage/breakages.

 

Cancellation:

  • All cancellations must be notified in writing. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of booking then your reservation deposit is fully refundable.

If you cancel your holiday more than 10 weeks before your arrival date then your reservation deposit will be forfeit. If you cancel less than 10 weeks before the holiday then the full balance and reservation deposit is not refundable.

  • We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
  • Your booking will not be cancelled by us or the property owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Should this occur the notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and where possible we will offer you alternative accommodation and any difference in rate will either be refunded to you or paid to us accordingly – where an alternative property cannot be found we will promptly refund all payments made for your property rental. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

 

Property:

  • We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the property at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes.
  • Rental commencement will be as stated on your check in time and date on your booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed and guests are required to vacate the rental by the time specified on the day of departure. This allows the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.
  • No animals are allowed in the property (unless guide dogs).
  • Vaping or smoking anywhere inside the premises or drug taking either inside the premises or in the properties grounds will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or extra cleaning caused by smoking will be at the expense of you.
  • Please use beach towels (if provided) for sunbathing at the accommodation or whilst at the Beach/Beach Clubs or on boat trips.
  • Damages and breakages – please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage.
  • Please do not move any furniture from one room to another.
  • Please lock the doors and close the windows and if the property has a house alarm please could you set it when you leave the property unoccupied.
  • On leaving the property during your stay – should the property have a keysafe then please leave the property keys in the keysafe and scramble the numbers for other guests to access should they return to the property earlier. On check out day – please ensure that keys are left in the Keysafe box and numbers scrambled.
  • Please note that if any keys issued are not returned at the end of your stay, then the cost of replacement will be charged to you.
  • Please make sure you switch off lights, heating, air conditioning or any electrical appliances when you go out.
  • The rental guests may in no circumstance re-let or sublet the property, even free of charge.
  • The owner shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building, grounds or hot tub/jacuzzi/pool.
  • We do not accept liability for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection, television service or any actions connected to that by any authority working in the vicinity of the property over which there is no control.
  • Any personal belongings and vehicles (and their contents) are left at the property entirely at yours and any of your parties own risk. We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage.
  • Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space, if provided, ensuring cars do not block access to other properties.
  • All inventory must remain in the property and not be taken to another property.

 

Safety and Considerations:

  • Swimming pool/hot tub/jacuzzi:
    -Please avoid using glass or sharp objects near the pool/hot tub.
    -Guests must shower before entering the water to rinse off creams and makeup.
  • Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times whilst in the property, it’s balconies swimming pool/jacuzzi/hot tub and its grounds. Please use swimming pool steps/ladders to enter the pool. Never leave children without responsible adult supervision on or near balconies, in or around swimming pools/jacuzzis/hot tubs.
  • Please respect the community and try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11 pm and 8 am.
  • We reserve the right to terminate a rental without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.
  • Barbecue – please use the designated barbecue utensils and clean the barbecue after use.
  • Check-out – we ask that guests leave the property in the condition that it was presented to them on their arrival. Whilst we appreciate bedlinen and towels etc will be cleaned by the property cleaners and the general tidying and cleaning of the property also – we do request that kitchens in particular are in a presentable condition for the cleaning teams to start work – we would kindly ask guests to ensure that all crockery, glasses, dinnerware, pots, pans, cutlery etc are cleaned and placed back in their respective places. Damages deposit may be affected should extra cleaning be required.

 

Complaints:

  • Any problem or complaint which you may have concerning your rental must be immediately reported directly to us/our representatives and we will endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported to us at the time and only reported after you have returned from holiday will not be considered by the Owner.

 

General:

  • We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
  • The properties are privately owned and are people’s homes. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect.
  • In respect of your accommodation booking we act as an Agent and therefore do not accept any liability whatsoever for any aspects of the arrangements and in particular we accept no liability for any loss, personal injury, illness or death.
  • In Kalkan the holiday Season is from 15th May to 1st
  • In Turkey any private construction company work is prohibited between 15th May and 1st Until 15th May any construction work, some of which may be noisy, is permitted between 8am and 8pm.

 

Other helpful information such as keysafe codes, alarm codes, Wifi passwords and other essential details, will be included in your guest information which will be received prior to your arrival. There will also be a helpful guide book in the property with appliance instructions etc.
