We have just returned (reluctantly) from a wonderful holiday in Kalkan.

We were fortunate enough to book with Elegant Retreats. We were initially unsure which villa to choose, but they went to great lengths to find the perfect villa for us, and they certainly did. Villa Aqua Verde, with its stunning views, was everything we had hoped for and more.

The villa itself is exceptional. The outdoor seating and entertaining areas are extensive, offering every combination of seating imaginable, so there is always the perfect spot to relax. The fully equipped outdoor bar and kitchen by the pool were fantastic, while the lower terrace with its games area was perfect for the kids.

The lower floor features a vast spa area, adding another level of luxury to the villa. The bedrooms offer plenty of flexible sleeping arrangements, are all en-suite, and there are well appointed WCs on each floor. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, and everything was in pristine condition. Housekeepers stopped by to empty the bins on more than one occasion during our 6 night stay and they also brought clean towels half way through our stay, which was a nice touch that we weren’t expecting.

The location is also excellent. We enjoyed breakfast at the beach clubs directly in front of the villa, and Zest Beach Club, with its fantastic facilities and great lunch menu, is right next door. All of the beach clubs offer a short boat trip across to the harbour, although it’s less than a 20-minute walk into town. Taxis arrive within minutes, and it’s only a two-minute journey to Kalkan’s wonderful rooftop restaurants and bustling town centre.

This is, without doubt, the best villa we have ever stayed in, and we will definitely be returning.

A special mention has to go to Julie, who was an absolute gem. She took care of everything—from arranging the villa booking and airport transfers to restaurant reservations and even ensuring groceries were waiting in the fridge when we arrived. Throughout our stay, she was always on hand with recommendations for beach clubs, taxi contacts, and anything else we needed.

We cannot thank Julie and Dan at Elegant Retreats enough for making our holiday so effortless and memorable. Their attention to detail and exceptional service made all the difference, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect holiday in Kalkan.
