We stayed at Villa Mor in April 2024. We are a family with 3 boys, 12. 16 and 19, and it was perfect for us.

The villa is beautiful and very spacious and even offers a bread delivery each morning. It is not often that you arrive somewhere and it is even better than you hoped but Villa Mor was. All the rooms were lovely, and the self contained games room with the extra bedroom off it was perfect for my eldest son. It also meant the older boys could play pool later at night without disturbing anyone else.

The living area and kitchen was well laid out, and the pool and outside sitting area was so nice for enjoying the sunset with a cocktail or a coffee in the morning. The garden area was very relaxing and peaceful, and I enjoyed sitting out there reading away from everyone, or sunbathing on the roof terrace. We hardly needed to leave the villa, but the shops and restaurants on Kalamar Rd were just a short walk away, and we walked into the main town most days, and got taxis home. There are so many restaurants to choose from; we particularly enjoyed the rooftop terrace at Nova, and we were made so welcome by Sami at Aqua on Kalamar Rd we ate there many times. We booked our taxi driver through WhatsApp, and also had days out at Patara beach and Kas.

We have been coming to Kalkan for many years and this the best equipped villa we have stayed at. It was so nice not to have to go shopping for household supplies, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including sharp knives!

We booked through Julie at Elegant Retreats and nothing was too much trouble. She was available for any questions I had, and even arranged groceries to be delivered to the villa for our arrival, with wines and beers and soft drinks in the fridge, and meze from Korsan kitchen ready for our first evening. I didn’t have to go shopping the whole time we were there. She was also able to recommend boat trips and restaurants, and arranged our airport transfers in luxury air-conditioned taxis.

We will most definitely be back to Villa Mor as soon as we can.
